Creating a New U-List
U-Lists are available for every class offered through the UCSB
Office of the Registrar. Creating a U-List for your course is
quick and easy - just follow these steps:
- sign in at the U-Lists Manager
- select your course sections
- give us the e-mail addresses from which you want to be able
to send messages

Sending Mail to a U-List
Messages can be sent your U-Lists just like you e-mail
your other correspondents - simply use the U-List address you've been
assigned.
To maintain the privacy of your
U-Lists, our system checks each incoming message for authorization
before it's delivered. Authorized messages are delivered immediately and you're sent a receipt letting you know how many students the message was delivered to; unauthorized messages are returned to the sender undelivered.
