The U-Lists Course Mailing Lists service means to
facilitate academic communication by providing
message distribution lists for each course offered through the Office of the
Registrar. The membership of each U-List is generated automatically through
enrollment records and changes dynamically as students add and drop
courses. Check our frequently asked questions for
more information.
At this point U-Lists are meant for one-way distribution of messages
from instructors to students. There is not currently any support for
discussion-based mailing lists where class members can send messages
to a U-List.
Policies and Acceptable Use
U-Lists are meant for the use only by the instructors of each course. To
prevent messages from other sources being distributed to the list, we
require that each sender address first be
registered
with the U-Lists system.
Any use of the U-Lists service must comply with the
UC Electronic Communications Policy.
